The end of August is just around the corner—not that we need reminding—so it’s now or never for some of Hong Kong’s best and brightest summer shows. With several ending in the upcoming week, now’s the perfect time to catch up on all the art before galleries close up shop and switch their exhibitions over to their September outings. Let’s get to it: DE SARTHE GALLERY is currently hosting Andrew Luk, with the artist-in-residence turning the exhibition space into his fully interactive studio. Meanwhile, Blindspot Gallery displays an eclectic selection of work of recent BA and MFA graduates of several prestigious art programs, which offers collectors a chance to scope out the latest emerging local talent. Photography enthusiasts only have a few days left to enjoy Markus Brunetti’s stunning Facades series, so hurry over to Axel Vervoordt Gallery before August 26 to have your fill. Then, be sure to pop over to Alisan Fine Arts for its current group exhibition of traditional ink artists spanning several generations and aesthetic periods.

Better get a move on! The dog days will be over before you know it. Find our full list of picks below. Read More
